A day in the life....

I love "a day in the life" posts.  Its fun to see into someone else's life.  We're really all the same.  We want the same things...we feel the same things.  We just go about our days a little differently.  I'm a stay at home momma so most my days are spent with a 2 year old...that's probably completely boring to some people, but I love it.

We got home from the beach late last night so Jackson & I slept in until 8:30 {gasp}.  I really needed to be up a lot earlier since I needed to be at church 9:30 for our MOPS Leadership meeting, but this momma needed sleep.

Our meeting lasted until about 11:30 & then Jackson & I headed toward home, but had to make a quick stop at the store to get a few things.  Isn't going to the store with a 2 year old always an adventure?  I love it :)

By the time we got home it was time for lunch.  Here's Jackson eating his SUPER HEALTHY spaghettios!  Hey, at least he is eating!  I'm tired, remember!

Then Jackson told me he needed to go potty so we ran to bathroom...plopped him down & he PEE PEE'D!!!  Woohoo!  POTTY DANCE!

I opted not to put an actual picture of him sitting on the potty, one day when he's older he'll thank me :)

Nap time for Jackson...Rest for Mommy...and a little time to pay some bills online, catch up on some shows & blogs!

Unpacked some of our stuff & started all the washing.  How can 3 people wear so many clothes?!?!  Unfortunately those clothes are still sitting in that suitcase, but they're clean...I just need to put them away.  I at least got all the dirty clothes taken care of!  I've learned with having a little one in the house you just have to go with the flow & if you don't get it done today, you will get it done later.  No need to stress & try to make everything perfect!  {Whoa, that was quite a profound remark out of my OCD mouth!}

Swept the floor (since Hubby tracked mud all over the house this morning) & straightened up the house a little bit!

Hubby is home!! Yay!!

started on dinner!  Spaghetti!  It's something super easy that I can actually make.  I lack all culinary skills.  Hubby usually does the cooking around here, but he was tired when he got home so I went to my go to meal & it was yummy!

Dinner!  {after we prayed over our food I asked Jerry if he had a good day & before he could answer Jackson piped in and said, "yea, I had a good day.".   We both laughed so hard.  2 year olds say the funniest things!

Hubby gave Jackson a bath & they played upstairs while I cleaned up the kitchen.

Relaxing time with my sweet Hubby!  19 Kids & Counting comes on tonight.  I know everyone has an opinion of The Duggars....I LOVE THEM.  They are the sweetest family & to have 19 kids....that's amazing!  They seem to be such well rounded, sweet, polite, thankful children I have ever seen!  I hope we can raise our kids to be Godly people!

Who knows when I'll actually get to bed!

My life is simple.  It's not always this simple, but I prefer it to be :)   Somedays I'm gone all day & never get a chance to sit down, but it sure is nice to have a nice, relaxing, slow day.
